Dominika Marcisz | Creative Direction, Visual Design
Dominika is a designer and artist who loves and gets excited about creating meaningful work and client experiences. She was born in Poland and spent her formative years near Toronto, Canada (having also lived in Germany, New Mexico, and NY).
Dominika has specialized in surface design for the past 9 years, working on pattern and grain projects for global brands such as Loop-Loc, Latham, GLI, Procopi, DEL Piscine, GM, Ford, and Chrysler. Dominika’s work for pool liner and decking patterns has received numerous awards from the GAA, has been featured in magazines such as Pool & Spa Marketing and Aqua, and can be spotted in tv shows like Mobwives or residential and commercial pools all over the world. As a creative lead for a manufacturing company, she also developed colour trends for the global market. Her development of the ‘ELECTRIC BLUE’ colour tone in 2014 for pool vinyl liners revolutionized the industry, was copied by numerous competitors and can still be seen on top selling pool liner patterns in homes and retailers all across North America.

“My process typically begins with research, inspiration and a sketchbook.
After working in various mediums I transform the work digitally into designs and patterns. I love texture exploration, expressive colour palettes, and clean bold styles. My main source of inspiration is LIFE (music, art, nature, fashion, sports, my family) and of course my clients and their vision. It all begins with an idea. Whatever it is, I would love to make it a reality for you.”
